Penang 0.5 Day Tour - Butterfly Farm

Today...My good friend Mr R has visited to Penang. He has limited time to spend in Penang Island.
Which place good to see? Haaa.....the only good place to visit appearing in my mind : PENANG BUTTERFLY FARM.

The only concern - it is too far away from City. It took 45 min to 60 min from Georgetown to Penang Butterfly Farm.

But - it is worth it!

STONE AGE CAFE

Where is the good place for Year End Gathering before we all go for long X'mas holidays?
I would suggest you guys to try this very special place. It is a very interesting restaurant.
STONE AGE CAFE.

The Cafe is located in the center of Pusat Perniagaan Gemilang, Bukit Mertajam.

The interior design will making you feel that you are not located in 21st century....you are stone age man century....

The real tree....?!

Beverage Counter in left corner side of restaurant.

Very clean, lemon smell of sky juice.

Chicken/Duck Mean on STONE...sound and looked special, right?

Talapia Fish on STONE...sun bath on stone.....

The waiter in Stone Age Cafe will help you to COOK your fish on the HOT STONE.

Good Place to EAT....Sure we will come AGAIN......

Penang Southern Sea Kuan Yin (God of Mercy) - 南海观世音菩萨

槟首间海上南海观世音菩萨殿宇　红灯角填地玄母殿落成

二零一二年十一月二十七日凌晨十二时三十七分
（槟城26日讯）耗资150万令吉翻新和扩建，红灯角填地的玄母殿，也是槟城首间海上南海观世音菩萨殿宇终于圆满落成，将在11月29日进行开光庆典，槟州首长林冠英将莅临于12月2日举行的开幕仪式。
红灯角填地玄母殿南海观世音菩萨建委会主席杨秀明指出，该殿已有41年历史，原本是水上木脚屋，由于长年遭到海水侵袭，建筑物已相当残旧，理事会们才决定进行重建，去年5月开始动工，终于以崭新面貌示人。

他说，刚完工的玄母殿约1万2000平方尺，设计概念由理事会构思，全间庙宇都趋向中国风格。此外，建筑材料和观音像都是从中国进口，而龙柱雕刻则由3名中国师父亲自前来雕刻。
“原本计划动用80万令吉进行重建，承蒙州政府和善男信女的热心捐助，让款项一直增加，理事会才能成功打造如此堂皇的海上南海观音殿。”他在周一上午召开的记者会上如是指出。
